Welcome to an exciting new school year. My name is Brooke Shapiro and I am looking forward to teaching your child to enjoy, appreciate and create art.  I received a Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree with Certification in Art Education from UW-Milwaukee and a Masters Degree in Urban Education from Marian College.  In my free time I like to paint, read, and cook exotic vegetarian dishes from around the world.  

I currently teach visual arts for K5 through 3rd grade at Willow Glen and 4th and 5th Grade at Deer Creek.  I have many art experiences to share with your child. We will look at and talk about major works of art, as well as create our own masterpieces using the elements of design. We will study various artists, art styles and cultures from around the world.
