Hello!

My name is Mrs. Claudia Busateri and I teach fourth grade here at Deer Creek Intermediate School.  Because I will be spending a large part of each day with your child, I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you a few things about myself, both personally and professionally.

I have been a teacher in this district for twenty years, but also taught in the Milwaukee Public Schools previous to my time in St. Francis. I have taught all grades second to sixth and especially enjoy working with fourth graders. I received a Bachelors Degree in Sociology and Elementary Education as well as receiving a Masters Degree in Education. I have three adult sons who attended school here in St. Francis at Willow Glen School during their elementary school days. We have very fond memories of our time here in the St. Francis Community!

Teaching is more to me than just a job.  It is a commitment I take very seriously. My goal, or mission as a teacher, is to help each student develop a positive self-image and to enable each student to reach his or her highest potential-not only academically, but socially and emotionally as well. I have high expectations for my students and will hold them responsible for meeting these expectations.
