Welcome to our third grade website!  We are so excited that you have chosen to visit our classroom! This website is designed so that we can share what's happening in our classroom with our family and friends.  As you explore our site, you can find our daily schedule, read about special events, and see the learning that is taking place. Meet Mrs. Legwinski:

Education:  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1989.  I earned my Master's Degree from Viterbo University in 2005, and I look forward to continuing my education throughout my teaching career.

Experience:This is my 21st year teaching in the St. Francis School District.  I have taught four years in fourth grade, two years in fifth, and fourteen years in third grade.  Every year has been exciting and memorable, as I have been lucky to teach such wonderful students.  Willow Glen  is a great place where I truly enjoy being around such enthusiastic students, staff, and parents.

Family:  I have three teen-aged children, Justin, Jacob, and Lauren, and a very large French Mastiff dog named Hogan. My husband is John.

Interests:  When I'm not doing teacher-related activities you might find me at the gym running and lifting weights.  I also enjoy taking motorcycle rides, reading, watching movies, hanging out with my children, and taking family vacations. 

In my classroom I promote an atmosphere of respect, safety, and trust.  We live among each other as a classroom community and operate as a team.  I value collaboration and cooperation both in the classroom and as I  work with my peers.  Willow Glen is a place I am proud to call my home away from home.
