8th Grade Band – Mrs. Lewis
Sessions: July 31st – August 16th
Time: Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00-10:45 a.m.
Grades: Incoming 8th
Wipe that layer of dust from your instrument this summer! August band is a great way to keep up your practicing while improving on performance skills. During this session, we will review fingerings and notes and play all kinds of music from jazz to pop, from classical to rock!

*These August bands are for students with a minimum of one year experience (those wishing to start learning how to play an instrument should sign up for Private Lessons).
Private Instrumental Lessons (including piano!) - Mrs. Lewis
Sessions: I (June 11th – June 29th) and
July 31st – August 16th
Time: To be scheduled individually with instructor
Grades: Incoming 6th-8th
Private lessons are for students who want to develop skills on a band instrument through one-on-one instruction or are interested in starting to learn the piano. This could be for the student who fell behind and needs some extra help, the student who is advanced and needs a new challenge, or for anyone in between! Beginning students who cannot attend the private lessons session in August are also welcome to sign up for a lesson. Lessons are scheduled on an individual basis, pending teacher and student availability. They are also first-come-first-serve time slots, so if you are interested in securing a time, email Mrs. Lewis at blewis@sfsd.k12.wi.us. Hope to see you this summer!
