Each Tuesday after school, Deer Creek's Knitting Group meets to learn how to knit.  The course begins with learning how to select the correct size needles, choosing yarn for various projects, and of course learning basic knitting techniques.  We begin with the cast-on, basic knit stitch, purling, and then finally the bind-off strategy.  This after-school class is open to all students in grades 4 through 8.  We enjoy fun conversation and music while we create projects and presents for our loved ones.  Please feel welcome to contact Ms. Krall if you are interested in being a part of our knitting group.
