Welcome Students and Parents!

I have been teaching for the last fourteen years and in the St. Francis School District since 1998.  In the spring of 1997, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with my undergraduate degree in Special Education - Learning Disabilities.  I continued my education by returning to UW-Whitewater to work on my Master's Degree.  In the Spring of 2001, I graduated with my Master's Degree as a Reading Teacher and Specialist.

My husband, Steve, and I have three children, one girl and two boys.  Abby, our oldest, is 10 years old and in 4th grade.  Alex, just turned 8 and is in 2nd grade.  Our youngest son, Jack, is five and just started kindergarten.  As a family, we enjoy biking, playing outside, vacationing up north, boating, and swimming in our pool.  In my free time, I love to read and cook.

Throughout the school day, I have high expectations for my students and believe that all students can be successful learners.  It is important for me to build meaningful connections with students and quality relationships with their families.  If at any time, you have questions, concerns, or suggestions about your child, please feel free to contact me.  I am always here to help and be a problem solver in whatever way I can.  Your child deserves to be a successful learner and thrive everyday in his or her academic environment.
