Welcome to Kindergarten!

 

My name is Laura Burmeister, and I am a K5 teacher at Willow Glen Primary School.  This is my first year teaching in the district, and I am looking forward to joining the kindergarten team. On this website you will find links to our daily schedule, classroom newsletters, and resources for you and your child.

Education & Experience: I graduated in December 2010 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I received my degree in Elementary Education and Communication Arts.  I completed my student teaching in a kindergarten classroom and also worked as a long-term substitute kindergarten teacher before starting this position.

Interests: When I am not in school I enjoy running and spending time with my friends, family, and fiancé.  I also love the outdoors, and during the summer I make frequent trips to my family's cottage in Minocqua.

I truly have a passion for teaching and am excited for a year of fun, excitement, and learning!   Please do no hesitate to contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns.
