I'm Laura Cogburn, third grade teacher at Willow Glen Primary School.  I've been in the St. Francis School District for 11 years, having taught reading and first grade previously.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Baylor University, Waco, Texas, in 1983.  In 2001  I received my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a license in reading.  Prior to moving to Wisconsin in 1997, I lived in New Jersey for fourteen years where I directed and taught in an early childhood education program.  My husband, Keith, and I moved from our home state of Texas in 1983.   He and I have two children, Emily (22) and John (19).  Emily lives in New York City where she works for Random House Publishing Company.  John is a sophmore at Marquette University.  I enjoy gardening, knitting, and spending time with my family.
