Welcome, First Grade Families!  My name is Michelle Boening, and I am a First Grade Teacher at Willow Glen Primary School.  I have been an educator for over ten years.   I am proud to be a part of the St. Francis school community.

In my free time, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking and spending time with my family.  I am an avid fan of the New York Giants and the Milwaukee Brewers.  I love the Beatles and watching Conan O'Brien....if any of you have movie-star connections, I'd love to meet him! :) 

I believe in educating the whole child in a constructivist, hands-on format.  First graders will spend a lot of time becoming connected to nature and the place we live in, as well as becoming strong readers, writers and mathematicians.
