I graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2001 with a B.A. in English and Secondary Education for grades 6-12. I taught 6-8 grade reading and language arts in De Pere, WI, for four-and-a-half years before relocating to Milwaukee, where I acquired a long-term sub position with Milwaukee Public Schools. Currently, I have been in the St. Francis School District for three years. I am pursuing my Master's Degree in Reading and Learning Disabilities at Cardinal Stritch University.

I live in Bayview with my husband Kevin, three cats, and our latest addition, our son, Rogan, born January 2nd.
