Welcome

Welcome!  It is a wonderful opportunity to be teaching classes that are all electives.  As one of the teachers of elective classes I know that the student has shown a special interest in the course due to interest, career goals or the desire to know more about the subject.  It is my expectation that each student leave class with a positive experience that will help them make decisions about their future and their career and personal goals.

In order to be the best student they can be each student must be an active participant in the discussions and activities in the class.  I expect all course work to be done in a timely fashion, and ask questions as necessary.

Students who are participating in one of the work related experiences have a unique opportunity to be introduced to the World of Work and apply the skills they have aquired in previous classes.  It is essential that they utilize the skills that got them into the program to stay in the program:  positive attitude, attendance and punctuality, flexibilty, cooperation, good work habits and adaptability.

I am usually available before and after school if needed, or during my afternoon hours.  If I can be of assistance - please let me know.  If you have questions please feel free to e-mail me at mflanag@stfrancisschools.org or call me at 414-747-3626.

Lets have a great year!
