Welcome!
I am excited to start another year working with Mariner students and parents. This year I will continue to teach U.S. History I and II. In addition, this year I will be also be teaching American Government.
I am a strong believer in student participation. Bringing all required materials and participating in class discussion are important elements of your/your child’s grade. In addition to these daily expectations, there will be some homework, projects once a quarter, and tests after every unit. There will always be approximately one week notice before a test and a review game the day before.
If there is every a problem, I encourage you (student or parent) to contact me.
Let’s have a great year!
……Oh, and if you want to know a little about me…..
Immediately after graduating from BrookfieldCentralHigh School I entered the education program at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In 2005 I was welcomed aboard the St. Francis High School Social Studies department. I completed my Master degree in Guidance Counseling through Concordia University in September 2009.
Health and fitness are extremely important to me. I am an avid runner and can often be found working out in the weight room at St.FrancisHigh School. As a result, I enjoy attending Mariner athletic events and supporting my students in their extra curricular activities.
