Math Text - MathThematics

We will be using the Math Thematics book #3 for eighth grade math. It is the third book in the series; the others have been used in previous grades. The book covers a variety of topics which are divided into “Modules”. These modules are then separated into sections, and then into explorations. By approaching problems in a variety of ways and settings, the program is set up to teach students math concepts and lifelong problem solving strategies.

Goals for students

  • Reason logically
