Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year at Deer Creek Intermediate School. We genuinely look forward to getting to know each and every one of you, and we strongly believe that this year will be a positive and exciting experience for all!
In eighth grade, our ultimate goal is to prepare our students for the rigorous demands that await them in high school and beyond. We stress the importance of independent thinking, organization, and study skills.
We expect our students to be accountable for their learning by filling out their agendas each day and for every class, bringing grade reports home on Fridays and reviewing them with parents, and completing homework to their best ability.
We appreciate your continued support and encourage you to communicate with us through phone or email should questions or concerns arise. We strongly believe that by working together, we can ensure success for each of our students.
