Welcome to Deer Creek Intermediate School, where "Attitude is Everything." At Deer Creek, staff, students and parents work together to instill success in our students. Deer Creek is a positive environment in which building character is infused into the curriculum of reading, math, science and social studies. We want to prepare respectful and responsible students who are academically successful as well as responsible members in the community.

Deer Creek is located on Kinnickinnic Avenue just south of Oklahoma Avenue in the quaint City of St. Francis. Our building was formerly St. John's home for the Deaf and is adjacent to Thomas More High School. The spacious 12 acre grounds offer many learning opportunities to our 430 students inside the building as well as out. Our staff includes 26 dedicated teachers as well as a full time guidance counselor, paras and many other support staff. We invite parents to become active members in their child's education and they answer the call by volunteering, attending PTO meetings and assisting with follow through at home. Working together as a TEAM - Together Everyone Achieves More!
