Hello parents, guardians, students, and community members,
My name is Michael Lewandowski, the new athletic director and associate principal for Saint Francis High School. I officially started on July 1, 2011 and am very excited about the opportunities that lie in front of us!
For the past twelve years, I have had many different roles in the educational world. I have been a social studies teacher, associate principal, men’s baseball and women’s volleyball coach at Harold S. Vincent High School in Milwaukee Public Schools, then became an associate principal at North Middle School in Menomonee Falls. I am truly gracious for the opportunity to work in the Saint Francis school community and begin working toward continuous improvement, achievement and excellence.
I believe deeply in students taking pride in their school and being active participants, whether that is through clubs or athletics. I look forward to working with our students and encouraging them to find their niche at Saint Francis High School.
I also believe deeply in a strong academic base for our young people. I will work hard with our educational staff to continuously offer a world class experience for our student body. We will strive for a rigorous and relevant curriculum that will challenge our students to think creatively and gain 21st century skills that will prepare them for their future.
I look forward to meeting all of you in our time together and encourage you to either come to the high school or call me at 414-747-3600.
Sincerely,
Michael Lewandowski
