WELCOME TO THE 2011 – 2012 SCHOOL YEAR!

Dear Parents and Guardians:
On behalf of the teachers and staff, I would like to welcome you to the 2011 – 2012 school year. I hope that you and your families have enjoyed the summer break, and that you are looking forward with enthusiasm to the new school year.
We are pleased to have you as partners this educational year and would encourage you to continue to be involved in your children’s education. As the year progresses, there will be many opportunities for partnerships within our school and community.
Our number one focus continues to be meeting each student’s individual needs through an academically challenging curriculum delivered in a safe and nurturing environment. We also encourage all of our students to become involved in the many clubs, organizations, special events and athletic activities that are offered here at the high school. We are committed to equipping our students with the experiences, knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the 21st century!
Open, clear and consistent communication is vital in supporting our students and families on their educational path. We will be putting forth additional efforts this year to improve communication at all levels. Each month, I will update you with current information that outlines opportunities for our students and families, and highlights our many successes. We will continue to use our website, phone and email systems and conferences with teachers and staff to provide up-to-date information for parents and students.
