First Grade
Police Chief Kaebisch reads to students

Willow Glen's First grade classrooms are focused on offering students a print rich environment designed to help all students develop into confident readers.  First grade students continue to develop strategies to navigate text and explore Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies through a variety of interactive activities that build confidence and strengthen character.  Students have the opportunity to meet with our Art, Music and Physical Education teachers every week to encourage growth in all areas of the curriculum.

SIX through the authors eyes:

"But now I am six, I'm clever as clever.  So I think I'll be six for ever and ever."
