Second Grade
HS Principal Mark Distefano reads to Mrs. Reeves class

By Second Grade, Willow Glen students are in the swing of school.  Literacy instruction focuses on increasing students capacity to read more fluently and more confidently.  Seven year olds thoroughly enjoy learning about the world around them, and begin to use their newly acquired skills for independent learning and group projects.  Art, Music and Physical Education help students develop strategies for team work, collaborate play and musical expression.

SEVEN through the authors eyes:

"On a bicycle I traveled over the known world's edge, and the ground held.  I was seven."
