I am from Milwaukee, and I received my Exceptional Education EA-A degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I am certified to teach cross-categorical special education for grades 6-12. This will be my third year at SFHS after two years at West Allis Central HS.
I have a true passion for working with reluctant learners! Helping each student progress in all areas of their development and sparking their love for learning is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily. I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures growth in a positive, fun environment.
Personally, I have been married for 16 wonderful years and have a fantastic 13 year old daughter who attends Deer Creek Intermediate School. We love going to her swim meets and spending time together investigating nature. I also enjoy reading, cooking, listening to music, aquarium keeping, relaxing at the beach, and spending time with friends and family.
