Science Instructor Email Phone: 414-747-3631 Welcome to Parents:
Welcome to St. Francis High School. I'm looking forward to share my passion of science and math with you and your child. These fields are continuously evolving and compliment each other. They touch our everyday life. The quest of and for knowledge is a lifelong journey and I enjoy learning everyday with my students.
Background:
This is my 19th year teaching here at SFHS. Before coming to St. Francis, I earned my BS in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University in 1992. I worked in the private sector for 7 years before changing careers. In the fall of 1999, I earned my teaching certification from UW-Milwaukee in Math, Natural Science and Physics. In 2005, I earned a Masters of Education from Marian University of Fond du Lac.
Not only do I work in the Mariner Nation, I live here too. For the past 30 years, my husband and I have enjoyed the home we have made here in St. Francis. I feel very fortunate to be working in the community in which I reside.
Availability:
I am part time and therefore only at school in the mornings from 7:30 - 12:00 pm. Open communication will be vital to our success. I am always willing to help! If you need to contact me at any time, the best way will be via email (thundt@sfsd.k12.wi.us).
If your son or daughter needs to make up work, quizzes or tests and they cannot make it in during homeroom, they will need to make an appointment with me to come in before school at 7am, during middle lunch or 5A study hall.
I will be available during parent-teacher conferences the following times:
October 3rd, 2019: 4:30 - 7:30
October 9th, 2019: 12:30 - 3:30
February 27th, 2020: 4:30 - 7:30
