Welcome Students and Parents!

Background:

 This will be my 23st year teaching at Deer Creek.  I received my dual certification in regular and  special education in 1998 from Carthage College in Kenosha.  I have since earned a Master's Degree in Reading and I am dedicated to creating fluent readers, writers, and mathematicians in my classroom.   I have experience with a wide range of special education grades, as well as needs, from mild to moderate disabilities.

My husband and I love being parents to our daughter Alayna, who was adopted from Colombia, and our son Evan, who was born in Ethiopia. We also have three dogs and many small pets at home to keep us busy.  I love spending time with friends and family, and every free minute is filled with them.
