The Kenosha Civil War Museum visited Deer Creek to teach #WeAreSFSD 6th graders about medicine during the Civil War.

Forty #WeAreSFSD students participated in the Healthcare Career Expo at Greenfield High School, where they had the opportunity to talk with healthcare professionals from a wide variety of fields, including EMTs, pharmacists, and art therapists.

Miss Wisconsin surprised Willow Glen students following Monday’s Black History Month Program! A special thank-you to Ms. Williams for organizing this memorable event and coordinating such a special visitor. 🌟 #WeAreSFSD

#WeAreSFSD music students experienced the magic of Broadway with the traveling production of Hamilton at the Marcus Center! 🎭🎶 They also had the exciting opportunity to hear from members of the cast and crew during a post-show Q&A.

#WeAreSFSD NHS members had the rewarding experience of spending their Friday evening volunteering at the soup kitchen, giving back to the community and making a difference with their gloves on and hair nets secured! 🍲🍴🧡✨

Sixty members of the #WeAreSFSD junior class participated in a practice ACT this week. It was great to see students voluntarily taking these opportunities to set themselves up for success!

Our #WeAreSFSD Modern Band had their 2nd annual concert and tore the house down! Congratulations to all of our Mariner Nation Rock Stars! 🎶🎤

Eighty-nine juniors took an important step in preparing for the upcoming ACT by participating in a practice test. Way to go! #WeAreSFSD

NHS Shop and Drop was a blast! From swimming and crafts to gym time and snacks, the kids stayed busy while parents enjoyed a night out shopping.

At the first wrestling match held at SFHS since the 1970s, we will proudly recognize 1968 alumnus Joe Schuster for his remarkable 44 years as a high school wrestling official. During his career, Joe worked six WISSA state meets and three WIAA state meets.

This weekend, 40 of our dancers will participate in an incredible experience, taking a workshop with the Radio City Rockettes, attending their 100th season of the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, seeing a Broadway show, performing on a Broadway stage, and dancing in Times Square.

Congratulations to the Cudahy/Saint Francis Cross Country State Qualifiers!

Saint Francis Senior Emma Lingongo earned her second consecutive trip to the state meet, finishing the 5K in 20:18 and securing the 4th individual qualifying spot.

Cudahy Senior Mason Reimer ran a personal-best time of 17:14, placing 9th overall and claiming the 3rd individual qualifier spot. This marks Mason’s first state meet appearance.

Best of luck to both runners at the state championships!
